My creatures fight on their own, why I can't control them?

The battle consists of two phases: active and passive.

• In the passive phase creatures fight automatically: attacking creature in front or any remaining creatures on the battlefield (if there is no creature in front of them). Player may not take part in it.
• In the active phase player chooses a creature's ability which will start the passive phase or orders to change creature's position.
